Digital branding is increasingly vital in today's digital era, significantly influencing corporate growth, including in the tourism industry. This study aims to design a model for digital branding within the metaverse specifically for the tourism sector. Utilizing qualitative methods, data were collected through semi-structured interviews with experts in tourism and the metaverse, selected via purposive snowball sampling. Grounded theory was employed for data analysis with MAXQDA software. After achieving theoretical saturation with 15 experts, 113 subcategories, 19 categories, and 5 themes were identified. The results highlight key causal conditions such as interactions between physical and virtual environments, positive user experiences, and a trained workforce. Contextual conditions include branding strategies within the metaverse and target market infrastructure. Intervening conditions encompass influencers and customer experience management. The study outlines strategies across pre-trip, in-trip, and post-trip phases, identifying brand elements and destination-related factors as significant outcomes.

this study aims to explore the resilience of eco lodge. The research population consisted of the primary owners of eco lodge in Guilan province. Twelve of these owners were selected using a non-probability sampling method based on a snowball technique. The study employed a qualitative approach and was data-driven. After validating the research, the results indicated that the main foundations of resilience in ecotourism can be categorized into seven dimensions: individual, capital, relationships, learning, strategic, environmental, and cultural. The factors influencing this phenomenon were identified from two perspectives: the business owners and the phenomenon itself. Following the identification of contextual and moderating factors, the main strategies related to resilience were presented in six categories: product, process, advertising, people, place, and positioning. The findings of this study can serve as Basic principles for the growth and sustainability of eco lodge within the Iranian business environment

This study examines the role of personalization and customization in the transformation of Iran’s hospitality industry and analyzes managers’ perspectives on their implementation. In today’s competitive market, these strategies can enhance customer experience, increase satisfaction and loyalty, and create a sustainable competitive advantage. However, their implementation faces challenges such as insufficient technological infrastructure, limited employee skills, resistance to change, and financial constraints.Using a constructivist grounded theory approach, data were collected through interviews with 17 hotel industry managers and experts in Iran. Data analysis was conducted using MAXQDA software through three stages of coding.Findings indicate that personalization and customization have not been fully institutionalized in Iranian hotels. This study presents a data-driven model that provides a framework for analyzing personalization within the local context and offers practical insights for managers to enhance competitiveness and improve customer experience.

AbstractIn recent years, numerous environmental concerns have emerged due to rapid economic growth and development. Various companies and governments have recognized the importance of environmental sustainability for economic and social development. This study aims to investigate the role of green human resource management (GHRM) in the relationship between top management's green commitment, green intellectual capital, and employees' environmentally friendly behavior in hotels of Yazd province. The current applied research employs a descriptive-correlational method, with data collected from 101 employees of hotels in Yazd province (from an initial sample of 160) using convenience sampling. The data were analyzed through structural equation modeling. The results demonstrated that both top management's green commitment and green intellectual capital had a significant positive impact on GHRM. This mediating variable, in turn, significantly and positively influenced employees' environmentally friendly behavior.

Sport tourism, a key form of tourism, is an effective driver of economic development. The rural areas of northern Khorasan Razavi face economic challenges, including limited activity diversity, low income, and scarce job opportunities due to environmental constraints. However, the region is culturally rich, renowned as the birthplace of Chukht wrestling, a sport deeply rooted in local culture and ethnicity. The enthusiastic tourist response to this event highlights its potential to boost the region's economy. This study investigates the impacts of event-based sport tourism on the economic resilience of rural areas. Data were collected via questionnaires across 11 villages and analyzed using a survey-based approach, descriptive-inferential statistics, and the CODAS ranking method. Five components (Good Governance, Social Development, Microeconomic Market Efficiency, Environmental Factors, Economic Stability) were assessed, with mean scores (4.00 to 3.36) indicating positive impacts. CODAS ranking identified Rahvard (score 1.61) as the leader, followed by Barghamad and EmamVerdiKhan.

This study aims to systematically analyze customer journey models in digital tourism using the conceptual approach of the “Paradigm Funnel.” This framework distinguishes between different levels of knowledge, from empirical data to fundamental concepts. Based on Boland et al.’s (2013) systematic review method, 12 academic articles were selected and analyzed across four levels: empirical observations, analytical methods, specific theories, and core assumptions. The findings show a dominant focus on empirical data and methods, with limited attention to theoretical foundations. The lack of independent review studies underscores the need for more comprehensive research. Digital technologies and online interactions play a key role in shaping customer decision-making models and offer opportunities for future studies in areas such as artificial intelligence, augmented reality, and big data. By identifying research gaps and proposing future directions, this study contributes to the development of digital marketing strategies and the design of enhanced customer experiences in tourism.
