Abstract
The attractiveness of many tourist destinations worldwide is directly linked to the synchronization of tourist visits with the peak aesthetic phases of seasonal phenological events, especially changes in plant coloration. the present study investigates the role of color changes associated with the phenological stages of plane trees in Pahlavanpour Garden with the aim of developing an optimal nature tourism calendar. The research employed both descriptive and quantitative approaches, utilizing a photographic time-series method. The results revealed that in early spring newly emerged leaves exhibited a green coloration, whereas during October, November, and December the transition of leaf color from green to yellow and brown generated a richer and more diverse color spectrum Quantitative analysis of color variation indicated that the leaf color transition period lasted approximately two months and twenty days, suggesting a sufficiently long-time window for tourist visitation and nature-based recreational activities.
