Abstract
This study examines the relationship between the environmental awareness, attitude, and behaviors of tourists in the natural attractions of Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province. The present study was conducted as a descriptive-survey and cross-sectional study, and data were collected from 330 tourists to six natural attractions using a questionnaire and convenience sampling. Data analysis was performed using SPSS and PLS software using descriptive and inferential statistical methods. The findings indicated high levels of awareness, positive attitudes, and favorable environmental behaviors among most tourists . The results showed that environmental awareness, attitude, and behavior have a direct impact on tourist satisfaction by 17%, 44%, and 18%, respectively. Also, awareness and attitude had an impact on environmental behavior by 28% and 61%, respectively, which highlights the role of attitude as the strongest predictor of behavior. The findings emphasize the need to combine educational and persuasive strategies to promote sustainable tourism in natural destinations.
