The purpose of this research is to provide the “Three-Dimensional Model of Tehran Tourism Management (TDMTTM)” using a two-stages exploratory mixed method design (qualitative-quantitative). At the first and second stages, content analysis and structural equation modeling have been used, respectively. The validity of questionnaire is as content and face validity. Content validity ratio (CVR) and content validity index (CVI) was estimated to be 0.69 and 0.79, respectively. The obtained reliability in Cronbach's Alpha coefficient method is 0.933 and in split of method is 0.0806, respectively. The sample comprises of 400 persons of tourism managers, experts, and professors, from whom the total of 387 valid questionnaires. Were obtaind the The results show that it is necessary to consider structural, environmental, and content factors in designing Tehran Tourism Management Model, and accordingly. “ The Three-Dimensional Model of Tehran Tourism Management (TDMTTM) was developed.”.

The aim of present study is to investigate the effect of constraints on themotivation of ski resort tourists. The population includes all of ski resort touristsin Shemshak and Tochal stations which has attended in sports at least threetimes in the year. Regarding to unfeasibility of certain population and uncertainsize, the sample size was determined through Cochran formula (N=141). Thedata were gathered by Wei (2008) questionnaire. Reliability was tested throughAlpha Cronbach for constraints and motivation as 0.756 and 0.898, respectively. In order to analyze the data, descriptive statistics (mean, standard deviation)and inferential statistics (Kolmogorov, Smirnoff, correlation coefficient ofPearson, and multi-various linear Regression) were used at the level of P≤0.05.The results showed that there was meaningful reverse relationship betweenconstraints and its dimensions and motivation of ski resort tourists (r- 0.362,P=0.001). Also, the interpersonal factors (t=2.251, B=0.247) and structuralfactors (t=2.331, B=0.238) were the most effective predictors. Therefore, regarding to the results, facilitating the tourists’ attendance through trainingand taking advantage of experiences in the field of ski and resolving structuralconstraints in order to provide security for tourists is so important for enhancingtheir motivation and continuous attendance in sky resorts

Shopping is one of the most important activities for tourists. The purpose of this study is to describe and predict tourist shopping route choice behavior in Tabriz historical bazaar. A model of tourist shopping behavior is estimated to investigate differences in route choice behavior of various types of tourist shoppers. The results indicate that shopping supply and accessibility, some physical characteristics, and the history of the route followed are important factors influencing route choice behavior. Furthermore, it can be concluded that shopping motivations, familiarity with the area and planning of the route, affect tourist route choice behavior. The model allows investigating the effects of environmental characteristics on route choice behavior and assessing various future planning scenarios, such as changes in physical aspects of links in the downtown area, or changes in supply of shops.

The main purpose of this study is to analyze the relationships among information sources, destination image and destination choice decisions of potential travelers. A conceptual model was generated on the basis of literature review in which five hypotheses were proposed. Research instrument administrated in the English language was used for this study. Data analysis was conducted in two stages. First, exploratory factor analyses using principal component method with Varimax rotation were conducted on destination image and information sources to examine their dimensionalities and psychometric properties. In the second stage, multiple regressions were used to test hypothesized relationships among all image factors, information sources and choice of Iran as a tourism destination. All of these procedures were performed using SPSS 17. The results confirmed that information sources have a significantly positive effect on destination image and choice decisions. The theoretical and managerial implications were drawn on the study findings.

Quality of service is one of the most important issues for competing service companies, and consequently using a method for service quality mesurment is of great significance. Although there is no consensus on the most appropriate method for this measurement, in this study, according to the literature review findings, using the SERVQUAL model for comparing hotel guest’s expectations and perceptions was preferred. Therefore, our focus in this article is on the different dimensions of service quality in SERVQUAL model, and SPSS 16 was employed to analyze these dimensions of our case study. The findings of the research are classified into two parts: the first part contains some information about demographical attributions of the respondents. The second part, are the hypothesis tests demonstrating that the perceived quality of service in Mashhad’s Homa II hotel is higher than expectations of Iranian guests.

Social Planners believe that without a correct cultural understanding of societies in terms of their differences and similarities, one cannot provide an adequate plan for attracting tourists and developing tourism industry. Today, one of the most effective sources of attracting tourists , is conducting a proper cultural treatment and focusing on cultural interactions, especially folklore. Folklore as a component of cultural in asset in Iran is considered as an opportunity in the development of tourism industry. Using a library and document processing technique and considering available theoretical arguments and empirical studies, this paper analyzes three fields of folklore, development and tourism and the relationship among them, with a special attention to the Iranian society. The findings suggest that Iran with a rich cultural civilization enjoys a variety of folklore in its geographical arena and can potentially motivate foreign tourists to visit tourism destinations and contribute to the development of this industry. However, since in traditional developing societies folklore is of great importance, this opportunity may sometimes be converted to a threat and thus necessitates a careful planning.
believed to hava an adverse effect on the environment, therefore,it can be neither effective nor efficient.Analysis of the attitudes of visitors and local community towards the importance of protecting this wildlife refuge and tourism development is the other outcome of this survey. Finally, strategies to implement an effective management system in protected areas have been proposed.
