This study was conducted on the Minab-Tiab Wetland in Hormozgan province to evaluate the impacts of nature tourism on different components of the wetland. The study used a modified RIAM method and sustainable development model to evaluate four environments of the wetland, including physicochemical, biological-ecological, sociological-cultural, and economic-operational components. The results showed that nature tourism would have a slight negative impact on the physicochemical environment and a moderate negative impact on the biological-ecological environment. On the other hand, it would have a major positive impact on the sociological-cultural and economic-operational environments. However, the study also revealed that the physicochemical and biological-ecological environments were not very stable, while the sociological-cultural and economic-operational environments were highly stable. In Minab-Tiab Wetland, nature tourism is associated with positive effects on the sociological-cultural and economic-operational components of the environment, but it can also have a negative impact on environmental sustainability.

The general trend of the present study is first to identify the pre-geosites of the study area, then to evaluate the geosites of the study area using Zouros and Kubalikova methods. The results of the evaluations indicate that Katale Khor Cave and Aladaghlar colored mountains have the highest value in both methods. After evaluating the pre-geosites, the impact of them on the economic, social and environmental status of the region is discussed. Unsustainable use of natural heritage leads to their destruction. Nowadays, rivers, as one of the most vital natural heritage, have been used unsustainably. Generally, rivers have the ability to attract tourists in the long run. Therefore, a sustainable tourism approach can help improve rivers' conditions while attracting tourists. With the descriptive-analytical method and the purpose of analyzing the environmental aspects affecting sustainable tourism realization, Zarjub River, located in Rasht, was evaluated. Subsequently, through the analytical hierarchy process and a survey of 25 local experts, the importance of environmental criteria and sub-criteria was determined. In order to assess the current status of the Zarjub River according to the criteria and sub-criteria, available statistics and questionnaire tool were used. In this regard, 400 citizens, 25 local experts, and 20 municipal officials were surveyed. Statistical analysis was performed using SPSS. Then, according to the importance and the current status of the criteria and sub-criteria, an integrated analysis was carried out. All criteria and sub-criteria are in the second, third and fourth areas. The criteria in the second area are more effective in realizing sustainable tourism because of their high importance and unfavorable status quo. The SWOT strategies were ranked with the VIKOR method, based on the criteria and sub-criteria and with the help of 25 native experts. Among the strategies presented, the strategy of "strengthening the tourism aspect of the river in all seasons, based on the principles of sustainability" was ranked first in terms of importance.

An important part of Iran's ecotourism capabilities is located in protected areas however, limited use of this feature has been made to empower the regions. This research seeks sustainable development of the region through the limitation of usable areas and the location of tourism resorts. Therefore, using the modified ecological model of land use capability for tourism and its integration with socioeconomic, infrastructural and legal indicators affecting the location of tourism resorts in GIS software, tourism destinations in the central Alborz protected area were located and mapped. The results show that 86.3% of the region has adequate environmental and social power for tourism, 12.1% of which is the best option for ecotourism. The main focus of tourism is around the eastern and northeastern parts of the region. Final destinations are categorized in terms of performance at four levels: local, regional, national, and international. The international level has the most frequency with 80.02 percent
