Abstract Many of the benefits passed on to us through the advancement of technology are now indispensable to our daily lives and have created a bustling, noisy and artificial urban space. People see their vacation as a chance to make them relax from work and everyday life. The urban development strategy is the city's development document in all its dimensions. While the comprehensive plans are evidence of the city's development in our country, they play a major deterrent role, and their guiding role is very slight. One of the key and important concepts used to explain the attitude and approach of urban tourism management in Iran is the technocracy phenomena which means the rule of technologists or technologists. Research methodologyAccording to the purpose of the study, the type of applied research is descriptive-analytical and semi-structured interviews, the researcher-made questionnaire with the reliability of 0.84, and environmental observations with emphasis on the three-way method. Data were collected using triangular method through interview, observation, questionnaire and content analysis. Accordingly ، interviews and observations in the context of environment and questionnaires have been used to explain the impact of the technocratic view on urban development plans on tourism. ConclusionThe results of the three dimensions showed that the technocratic and technocratic outlook in urban plans has marginalized tourism and diminished the potential of urban tourism and resulted in the loss of the major identities of tourist attractions. These projects are theoretically and content such as disregarding the multidimensional nature of the city and its unpredictable variables, reducing comprehensive urban planning to physical planning, not paying enough attention to the need for targeting, decision making and decision making, not paying attention. Enough of the need to integrate physical goals with environmental and socio-economic goals has resulted in the destruction of the city's core functions and has only taken into account the technical aspect.

One of the components of the regeneration projects is the expansion of cultural tourism and location marketing, which considers the existence of historical contexts as a platform for having historical-cultural values. Along with such an approach, preserving, reviving, and updating the spatial-physical, visual and aesthetic values of the ancient urban textures to make them desirable is discussed in this article. The city of Babolsar has been studied as one of the cities in Iran with touristic capability in the north of the country to evaluate the effective factors of tourism development in historical contexts. The study is applied research concerning purpose; The data collection method was quantitative using a questionnaire, and data analysis was conducted through multivariate regression test and path analysis. The research findings show that the re-creation of the basic culture is a factor in developing sustainable tourism in Babolsar and can be achieved by strengthening its factors (indigenous culture and local creative industries, art, traditional handicrafts, and preserving historical buildings). This study shows that the re-creation of cultural-historical contexts is closely related to the approach of urban tourism development in Iranian cities in general and in Babolsar in particular. At the same time, despite the unique opportunities of these structures, both in terms of physical and architectural attractions and historical rituals and traditions, the problems of tissue regeneration, severe shortages of tourism infrastructure, and limited and transient views of urban management can be the biggest obstacles to activating their capacities.

The present study has been performed to assess the urban tourism sustainable drivers in Ahvaz city using the descriptive-analytical methodology. Regarding the main object of the study, two secondary objectives of recognizing the priority of using tourism sustainability drivers and recognizing the impact of drivers on the sustainability of urban tourism in Ahvaz have been followed in the research process. For data collection by surveying methods, the opinions of 30 experts related to the field of research have been gathered using a questionnaire. To analyze the priority of drivers, Multilayer Perceptron Neural Network (MPNN) approach, and to analyze the effects of drivers on the sustainability process of urban tourism in Ahvaz, linear regression analysis (R-Linear), logarithmic (R-Logarithmic) and logistics (R-Logistic) has been used. The results show that according to the results of regression models, except for economic and social sustainability drivers, other drivers do not affect the sustainability process of Ahvaz urban tourism. On the other hand, the results of the neural network approach indicate that political sustainability driver, based on the opinion of experts with a significance of 0.235, has a higher priority to improve conditions and create conditions for sustainability in urban tourism in Ahvaz.

In any type of tourism trip, there are probably some reasons that, if combined, can be considered as motivational factors for travel. Awareness of these factors and how they affect different stages is essential in planning. Urban development plans in Iran do not have the proper and expected function for planners, urban managers, and people, and tourism in these plans does not play a significant role. This research seeks to analyze the factors of tourism weaknesses in these projects. Methods: according to the research objectives, this is applied research which used descriptive-analytical method and semi-structured interviews with emphasis on exploratory approach. Results: Based on exploratory analysis, four factors were identified on tourism weakness in urban development plans of Kermanshah province, which include institutional, perspective, structural and managerial factors. Structural equation modeling was used to analyze the data and examine the relationship between factors and determine their contribution. Conclusion: the results of this study showed that the main components of the research have a significant effect on the tourism weakness in urban development plans of Kermanshah province. The structural equation analysis showed that the first factor (institutional) with the critical ratio of 2.159, the second factor (perspective) with the critical ratio of 2.801, the third factor (structural) with the critical ratio of 2.506, and the fourth factor (managerial) with the critical ratio of 2.173, each with the significance level of 0.05 has a significant effect on the tourism weakness in urban development plans of Kermanshah province.

Tourism is an important activity with economic, social and environmental effects on cities. Given this importance, tourism development policy is an approach that urban societies have paid attention to it so that increasing its results they can minimize its negative effects. The purpose of this paper is studying economic, social and environmental effects of tourism on development of Qeshm island cities. This study is an explorative research that based on descriptive- analytic method and collecting library and field information. Statistical samples of this study include all of household heads in Qeshm city; based on Cochran formula 371 heads were selected through simple random sampling. Questionnaire was used in order to collect data; Cranach's alpha was 0.78 that indicates its good reliability. Collected data were categorized by SPSS software and by Chi-Square Test meaningfulness of data was determined and analyzed. Study results show that in economic context, tourism in addition to job creation, income increase ad qualitative and quantitative improvement of handicrafts, has led to price increase, land trade and building increase. In social context, it has led to improvement in education and health, increase in citizens’ interaction and security. In environmental although it has had positive effects but it had many negative consequences such as pollution, traffic increase, land application change and decay of valuable urban texture that are contrary to urban development goals. So by material planning and attempt to have optimized use of tourists’ entry, economic condition and consequently social, environmental and structural conditions can be improved.

Rapid and uncontrolled tourism development has exposed the fragile environment to an ever-increasing risk of degradation. Unfortunately, both public and private sectors have been working to the detriment of the environment. In fact, tourism development has interfaced with the original characteristics of the area upon which it relied for attracting tourists. This means that tourism industry although mostly is ecologically based, it is not ecologically sound. These facts have increased awareness of tourism impact on environment amongst academics and social sectors. The author believes that sustainable development principles must become more serious and applicable and all three sectors i.e. public, private and social sectors, should commit themselves to move towards sustainability of environment. The article ends with suggesting a general framework for assessing tourism impacts on environment in the hope of effective transition towards sustainability in planning and development of tourism industry.
