The environment has been one of the main and most important concerns of human societies in the past few decades. Hence, in recent years, much attention has been paid to environmental problems. In the present study, effective factors on environmental conservation behaviors have been evaluated using the causal model and LISREL software. This research was conducted using the survey method and questionnaire. The statistical population includes foreign tourists who visited Fars province tourist sites in 1395. The sample size was 260 using the Cochran formula. According to the estimates of the coefficients of direct and indirect effects, the highest direct effect on environmental conservation behaviors related to personal norms (0.42), and the least was the indirect effect of place attachment (0.02).

The identification of tourism market segments helps to better develop travel packages and more efficient strategies. By identifying the expected values derived from the behavioral patterns and comparing them with the behavioral interests of the travel of elderly people, along with individual characteristics, the market for elderly tourists can be segmented and predicted. In terms of the purposes, this is an applied research and in terms of the data collection method, this is descriptive-survey. The qualitative approach and the Delphi method has been used to identify the expected values and, to predict market groups, a quantitative approach using neural networks has been used. This research has been conducted among 380 Esfahani and Tehrani elderly tourists using non-random and available sampling method. The results show that values are due to individual and personality traits, travel motives, travel experiences, travel style, and travel pleasure. The market for elderly tourists was identified and predicted based on the expected values, with the neural network technique in three conservative, prosperous and younger groups.

Issues regarding Competition first started when Adams Smith published his famous book "Wealth of Nations". Until late 1980s there weren’t any theoretical frameworks for analysis, maintenance, and improvement of the competitiveness of a country or an industry, so all the economic analyses about competitiveness were based on varied indicators. To date, researchers like Porter (1980), Gilbert (1984) and Poon (1993) have proposed various strategies for identification of tourism destination competitiveness factors, but Crouch & Ritchie’s model has been the most comprehensive of all. With the use of Crouch and Ritchie's model, this paper aims to investigate and rank the factors affecting tourism competitive advantage of Chabahar region. The research was performed during the years 2009 - 2010. Results displayed prioritization of five indices of Crouch and Ritchie's model as following: Destination Policy Planning and Development; Destination Management; Core resources and Attractors; Supporting Factors and Resources; and Qualifying and Amplifying Determinants. Also findings indicated that factors such as climate, beautiful beaches and landscapes, security are among the strength points, while factors like visitor management, crises management, recreation centers, and marketing are of weak points of the region.

Given more than five decades of studies on tourism clusters and regional development and the lack of a comprehensive review of previous research, the main goal of this research is to conduct a quantitative review of these studies using bibliometric analysis tools. In this regard, articles related to this topic from 1988 to 2024 were reviewed, and knowledge mapping and performance analysis were performed on 333 articles in Vos viewer software. The findings showed that the number of published articles was the highest during the past decade, and authors such as Jackson and Murphy had the highest scientific citations. Also, word co-occurrence analysis revealed five research clusters whose core keywords include tourism, cluster analysis, regional planning, competitiveness, and tourism development.

Along with the influence of the Internet and the dramatic advances in the use of information technology in businesses, a new concept has been introduced in the tourism literature called smart tourism destinations. Although studies have been conducted in this area in recent years, the research process is not clear due to the short time of introduction and development of this technology. In addition, the synthesis of knowledge has not been done in order to draw conclusions about the evolutionary nature of this issue and to develop its theories. This study used the paradigm funnel method to fill this gap and investigate the research. For this purpose, 105 articles were reviewed from 2000 to 2017, and after selecting articles, 34 articles were identified and classified. The findings indicate the focus of the articles is on the level of specific theories and the lack of articles in the field of ontology and basic hypotheses. This study will help researchers to better understand the conducted research process, to get acquainted with the concepts and components, and to identify the existing research gap.

One of the most important subjects in tourism development assessment is the satisfaction of tourists from the ecolodge resorts quality. Naturally, increased satisfaction of tourists from the capacity and quality of recreation and residential facilities is directly proportional to the growth of tourism. In this regard, the aim of this study was to investigate the tourists satisfaction from the quality of ecolodge resorts in rurals of Tehran province in the form of six indicators of the quality of infrastructure and health services, quality of infrastructure and welfare and catering services, quality of security, quality of territorial resources, the quality of physical infrastructure and the quality of environmental health. To this end, a questionnaire measuring the satisfaction of tourists from the quality of ecolodge resorts was prepared and standardized by statistical methods. Used method in this study is descriptive-analytical and its type is applied and the method of data collecting is done in both documentary and survey. The statistical population of the study is rural tourists in 6 rural accommodation centers. For determination of the sample size, the Cochran formula was used for uncertain or unconfined society with 95% confidence level, with the estimated number of samples estimated at 160. Data were analyzed using PASW software and CSM index. The results of the research indicate that the satisfaction of rural tourists in the quality of territorial resources quality has been higher than other sectors. In other words, the closest performance to expect is the quality of territorial resources, and the quality of the physical infrastructure is thereafter. This is while the quality of security has the lowest satisfaction.

The perception of tourists is a psychological factor that affects tourists’ behavior and business performance. Shaping tourist agencies or managing perceptions is crucial for creating a competitive advantage and developing competitiveness for travel agencies. Various factors have played a role in the formation of tourists’ perceptions, which have been discussed in this article and previous studies. However, a comprehensive pattern regarding the management of tourists’ perceptions has yet to be presented so far, and the purpose of this research was to extract the pattern of tourists’ perceptions management. In this research, the qualitative-qualitative method was used, that is, a meta-synthesis method for literature and background analysis, and then open, axial, and selective codes were extracted from the thematic analysis method with the help of conducted interviews. In order to validate and check reliability, inter-coder reliability was used, and the community and sample for interviews included experts and managers of travel agencies. Finally, the final pattern has been extracted as a network of themes of antecedents, perception management methods, and consequences.
